Jezabel’s Argentine Cafe & Bakery

Jezabel Careaga, owner of Jezabel’s Argentine Cafe & Bakery, dreams of her grandmother’s homemade croquettes and pickled vegetables. So Careaga started a meal series at her culinary studio dedicated to that kind of homey food. At the monthly dinners, you can taste one cook’s take on their own grandma’s specialties. To start things off, Careaga will spotlight local Latinx chefs. “When we talk about Latin food, we don’t think about the differences between food from Honduras and El Salvador,” says Careaga. By focusing on one family’s recipes, diners can taste what makes one Latin cuisine distinct from the others.
