Phoenixville’s annual Good Food Fest returns on Sunday, November 6, at Kimberton Fair Grounds after a two-year pandemic hiatus. This one-day event celebrates and promotes regional agriculture and the local community that helps it thrive. The Fest includes a massive farmers’ market, a pouring room, culinary demonstrations, kids activities, farm animals, live music, and food trucks. Over 200 growers, producers, and makers will be on hand, including Urban Roots Farm, Lost Bread Co., Horseshoe Ranch, Fishtown Pickle Project, and The Clean Plate Club. To commemorate this year’s event, Suburban Brewing Co. and Deer Creek Malthouse have released a special-edition lager, Husks & Hops, made with 100 percent local ingredients to celebrate PA agriculture. Good Food Fest is hosted by Growing Roots Partners and made possible by premier sponsor Kimberton Whole Foods.
