COMMON MARKET

Common Market works with a range of local farmers and other purveyors to offer its members 10 deliveries arriving every other week from July through November. A basic share costs $54 a month and there are many optional add-ons including poultry, bread, and cheese.
CRAWFORD ORGANICS
387 Iron Bridge Rd., East Earl, PA
This farm has three CSA seasons and multiple pick-up locations throughout the city. The summer share costs $524 for 16 weeks. You can also add on an egg share ($88) or yogurt share ($84).
GREENSGROW FARM
2501 E. Cumberland St., Philadelphia, PA
This urban farm in Kensington works with a network of local farmers to offer a protein share (vegan options available) along with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and cheese. Half shares and full shares available; prices vary (same size as the full, but picked up every other week).
KIMBERTON CSA

Started in 1987 by Barbara and Kerry Sullivan, Kimberton was the first CSA farm in Pennsylvania. They follow biodynamic growing methods. Their share costs $910 for 24 weeks, and $500 for 12 weeks (biweekly pickup).
KNEEHIGH FARM
3500 Coventryville Rd., Pottstown, PA
Over 100 varieties of vegetables are grown on this women-run farm. The 22-week CSA runs June 9 through November 4 and costs $600 to $700 and up, based on a sliding scale.
LANCASTER FARM FRESH

LFFC is a nonprofit of over 100 family farmers focused on providing fresh, certified-organic fruits, vegetables and other farm fresh products through their CSA program.
NORTH STAR ORCHARD
3226 Limestone Rd., Cochranville, PA
North Star provides fruit, vegetable and egg shares in full and half sizes. It’s $315 for the 15-week fruit share (pickups start in August), $650 for the 25-week vegetable share, and $112.50 for the 25-week egg share.
RED EARTH FARM
5785 Golden Key Rd., Kempton, PA
This farm, run by husband-and-wife pair Michael Ahlert and Charis Lindrooth, offers a 22-week CSA beginning in June. A full share costs $635; a partial share costs $451.
TAPROOT FARM
66 Kemmerer Rd., Shoemakersville, PA
Ola Creston and her husband, farmer George Brittenburg, started Taproot Farm in 2010. Their 23-week CSA comes in three sizes: the core share for $410, the partial for $485 and the full for $665.
TINICUM FARM
1073 River Rd., Upper Black Eddy, PA
Tinicum’s CSA grows over forty varieties of fruits and vegetables for its shares. It’s a 24-week season, and the farm offers a sliding price scale for both half shares ($350 to $450) and full shares ($650 to $850).
TWO GANDER FARM

For the 23-week summer CSA from Two Gander Farm, run by Deidre and Trey Flemming, prices range from $759 for the large share to $475 for the small share.
WEST PHILLY FOODS

Based out of the Enterprise Center, West Philly Foods sources from multiple Philadelphia-based urban and rural farms and offers locally produced value-added items. The 20-week share costs $640 for the full and $375 for the half.
