Ingredients
SERVINGS: Makes 1
- 1 orange
- Maple sugar (for rimming)
- Candied ginger
- Ice cubes
- 8 ounces kombucha, sparkling water, or ginger beer
- ½ fluid ounce OLD E elixir
- 1 fluid ounce fresh-squeezed orange juice
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch cinnamon
Preparation
1. Slice orange in half and rub around the rim of glass and dip glass in maple sugar. Chop 2 slices of candied ginger and set aside. Put 1 slice of candied ginger in the glass and add ice.
2. Pour kombucha, OLD E, orange juice, and vanilla extract in the glass. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top. Stir.
3. Garnish with reserved chopped candied ginger and orange peel. Enjoy!

If you’re hosting a party, make a big batch of OLD E, orange juice, and vanilla ahead of time. Stir well before adding to each glass, and top with your bubbly of choice plus garnishes.
