Dip Daddy: A New Dip Delivery Startup Arrives in Philly
A NEW DIP DELIVERY STARTUP HAS ARRIVED, just in time for summer picnics, beach days and stoop-sittings. Danny Giorgio, a chef from South Philly, worked in restaurants such as Amada and Barbuzzo, in addition to spots in LA and Italy. His Dip Daddy menu features six options, plus seasonal varieties, including the OG Pimento (roasted peppers, cream cheese, pickles, Fresno chiles, cheddar, cayenne), the Go-To (caramelized onions, tahini, cumin, lemon, garlic) and the Arty (artichokes, tomato, pecorino, roasted garlic). The dips range from $8 to $13 for shareable, 16-ounce containers. Dippables ($5 each) include Baltic bagel chips, pita chips and rye grissini crackers, but Giorgios’ fun mustache-shaped pretzels are our favorites for scooping.
