It’s easy to get lost at the Random Tea Room, which sells more than 40 teas from around the world. They offer house-made herbal infusions and rarities like kava, kratom, and chaga, and are best loved by regulars for the chai, made with spices, local milk, fresh ginger, brown sugar, and rose water every morning. You can order by the cup, stock up on loose leaf to brew at home, or sign up for the new Random Tea subscription to get surprise teas delivered to your door. The 11-year-old tea room also hosts concerts and workshops and offers body treatments by a collective of massage therapists next door.
