After success with Reap Wellness, a plant-based meal delivery service they started in 2018, Adjua and her husband, Zach, opened the Reap Mini Mart storefront in 2021. Their smoothies have a dedicated following, and with good reason. One of Reap’s principles is the idea that food (and drink) can both taste really good and be good for you.

“With our smoothies, and really everything we create,” Adjua says, “we are always thinking of how we can make eating well a more delightful and craveable experience. We are often trying to Reap-ify a drink or dish we love.” She cites the Macaccino coffee smoothie that is inspired by her childhood fave, the Frappuccino. Made with organic cold brew, maca, cacao, and dates, it delivers familiar flavor with healthier ingredients.

In addition to creative and craveable smoothies, Adjua sources beverage products for the mart considering functionality and innovation. Nonalcoholic aperitifs like Kin and Ghia—which incorporate adaptogens and botanicals, and even melatonin in some cases—are a big hit with customers.
