In this class, we explore Grappa in all it's glory. Italy produces some of the world’s finest spirits, with grappa standing as its most iconic. Made from distilled grape pomace, grappa varies in style from young and fresh to aged and complex. Other notable Italian spirits include acquavite, a broad category of fruit brandies; brandy italiano, often aged in oak for depth and smoothness. While Italy is known for its amari and liqueurs, these spirits showcase the country’s long tradition of distillation beyond cordials.
