Marisa McClellan is a food blogger, cookbook author, and canning teacher based in Center City Philadelphia. She is the author of Food in Jars, Preserving by the Pint, Naturally Sweet Food in Jars, and The Food in Jars Kitchen. She is also the cohost of a podcast for obsessed home cooks called Local Mouthful. She has written for a variety of publications, including Fine Cooking, Taproot Magazine, and Food52. CreativeMornings is a breakfast lecture series for the creative community. They’re free, monthly events that feature a short talk, Q+A and breakfast. CreativeMornings started in NYC in 2008 and has since grown to 200 cities all over the world. The local chapters celebrate a city’s creative talent and promote an open space to connect with like-minded people. CreativeMornings happen one Friday a month from 8:30am to 10am.
