Chef Chris D'Ambro

AFTER A TWO-YEAR HIATUS, CHRIS D’AMBRO, CHEF-OWNER OF SOUTHWARK, has reopened the adjacent Ambra. The reimagined space now accommodates just two tables to provide guests with one-of-a-kind dining experiences. The Kitchen Table, a two- to four-guest space, is carved into the kitchen for Ambra and Southwark. Here, guests observe Chef D’Ambro and his talented team at work, crafting their menu from start to finish while simultaneously preparing dishes for other diners. The Dining Room provides an intimate space for eight to 10 guests, complete with a copper-topped bar and a 12-foot-long table built by D’Ambro’s brother, Joseph. Both experiences last approximately three-and-a-half hours and include a multi-course tasting menu and beverage pairings.
