Get Merry: Philly’s 2024 Holiday Markets

philly-holiday-markets-01.jpg

Across the greater Philadelphia region, holiday markets pop up this time of year. Visiting these markets can get you in the holiday spirit, make finding the perfect gifts fun, and help you find new local makers around every corner. It’s way more fun than late-night panic shopping on Amazon, and your dollars will stay in the community. Of course, there’s festive food and drinks to enjoy, too.

Here are four holiday markets we want to visit this year:

CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

November 23–December 24

Sunday–Thursday: noon–8pm
Friday–Saturday: noon–9pm

SPECIAL HOURS:

Thanksgiving Day (November 28): 9am–5pm,
Christmas Eve (December 24): noon–5pm

Love Park and City Hall
1500 Arch Street

MADE IN PHILADELPHIA HOLIDAY MARKET

This year’s Holiday Market at Dilworth Park will again feature a large variety of local artisans, designers, crafters, and jewelers from the Philadelphia region offering their unique holiday-inspired handmade goods and gifts.

November 15–January 1

Friday–Saturday: noon–9pm

SPECIAL HOURS:

Thanksgiving (November 28): 9am–5pm,

THE CRAFTERY HOLIDAY MARKET

You’ll find the roving Craftery Market on the historic grounds of the Mercer Museum on three Saturdays this December. Each day will include different vendors, so it might be worth hitting all three. You’ll find more than 30 artisan makers, food trucks, seasonal hot drinks, and festive music.

December 7, 14, and 21

Noon–5pm

84 S. Pine St.
Doylestown

CHRISTKINDLMARKT

Mark your calendar for December 14. The fifth annual Christkindlmarkt is happening in West Chester. When you plan your day, give yourself time—there will be more than 100 vendors. The handmade local items will include art, ceramics, jewelry, and housewares. You might be able to cross everyone off your list.

December 14

11am–7pm

Gay St. (between Darlington St. and Matlack St.)
West Chester
