Recognizing the importance of agriculture to the region’s economy, Chester County Government and the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) partnered in 2024 to create an expanded AgConnect program. Today, AgConnect serves as a hub for collaboration, advocacy, and education, working to ensure agriculture remains a strong and sustainable industry across Chester County and southeastern Pennsylvania. The Farm Guide is one of many efforts that support agriculture throughout Chester County. The Chester County Farm Guide serves as a valuable resource for residents and visitors looking to connect with the county’s vibrant agricultural community. The guide highlights local farms, farm markets, agritourism destinations, specialty producers, and other agricultural businesses that help make Chester County one of Pennsylvania’s leading agricultural regions. Whether you’re searching for fresh seasonal produce, locally raised meats, family-friendly farm experiences, or unique agricultural products, the Farm Guide offers an easy way to discover and support local agriculture. To complement the Farm Guide, we’re also highlighting restaurants, wineries and cideries that have committed to sourcing locally and are worth a visit!
Those who are passionate about local agriculture are encouraged to get involved with AgConnect through membership, event participation, sponsorship opportunities, committee service, or educational outreach. Farmers, growers, producers, and agricultural enterprises interested in being featured in future editions are encouraged to reach out and ensure their information is up to date.
