The bakery is now called Merzbacher’s, after founder Pete Merzbacher. But don’t worry—you can still get the bakery’s most sought-after product, Philly Muffins. Those square English muffins have been winning fans since the beginning. The new name does signal other changes. Once primarily a supplier to restaurants, Merzbacher’s breads are now more widely available in grocery stores, including Riverwards Produce.
