After a very successful seven years next door to sister spot Fork on Market Street, High Street has moved to a new location in the Washington Square West neighborhood. The focus will be on carryout and delivery, a welcome situation for many diners still concerned about the pandemic and the risks of indoor dining. The bakery will still feature the outstanding breads, sandwiches, pizzas and pastas for which it has become so well known, but it’s added some new things, too, including a recently launched bread subscription. The restaurant’s dedication to working with local farms and producers is another aspect of High Street that remains unchanged.
