Primal Supply Meats

Primal Supply Meats opened a butcher shop this spring, and they’re selling more than steaks. The storefront serves as a grocery where home cooks can grab all they need for a weeknight meal.

Owner Heather Marold Thomason stocks her shelves with products from favorite local suppliers: Oasis Dairy’s milk and butter; Brine St. pickles; and Lost Bread Co. to name a few. Fruits and vegetables come courtesy of EP's 2018 Local Hero Award winner, Riverwards.

Of course, local, pasture-raised meat is cut fresh to-order, and extras like organ meats and bones for broth are available. —K.R.
