Join us on October 7th for the Subaru Fall Festival at Greensgrow Farms for a celebration of local food, music, crafts, and farm fun. Experience the former galvanized steel plant which was transformed into an urban farm in 1997 by Mary Seton Corboy. At this year’s Fall Festival, we anticipate an audience of 4,000 people from Philadelphia and its surrounding areas, as well as out of towners. Visitors will have the chance to sample harvest dishes, enjoy crafts, live music, visit the farmstand and bring the kids to partake in a variety of children’s activities! The public is invited to create and submit their best chili dishes and pies in Greensgrow’s homestyle Chili and Apple Pie competitions. The festival will overflow into the surrounding streets, which will be filled with food trucks and local craft vendors. Admission is free and open to the public. The event supports and celebrates Greensgrow’s nonprofit mission to grow a greener and more sustainable Philadelphia.
