Philly Pours pairs fabulous food, wine and cocktails in an event to benefit the children’s programs of Resources for Human Development.
Resources for Human Development (RHD) designs personalized interventions that serve children with emotional, behavioral and medical challenges requiring intervention at each stage of recovery including programs within schools and in their homes.
Legendary 6-ABC Action News anchor Lisa Thomas-Laury will serve as celebrity MC. One of the first African American women to anchor TV news in a large U.S city, Lisa became one of the most popular local TV anchors in the country.
The Philly Pours VIP event will feature an exclusive cocktail presentation with special guests André and Tenaya Darlington, siblings and co-authors of three books that revolve around cocktails: The New Cocktail Hour, TCM’s Movie Night Menus, and the new Booze & Vinyl. Their creative pairings of cocktails with movies and music will make for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at this year’s Philly Pours.
