We discover industry members like Varnana Beuria, owner of Chhaya Café, and ask them to share their hobbies with Cooks Who Care. Join a hangout with your food peers and loved ones to recharge for 2 hours.
Varnana learned to prioritize self-care (after 7+ years as a Philly Food Business owner) and wants to guide you as you on a trip to do the same.
Now, an avid hiker doing it her way, Varnana's sharing her hiking hobby with our food industry community. Enjoy the chance to disconnect from the kitchen and reconnect with the outdoors.
Reclaim the outdoors with an active loop through one of Philadelphia's treasures: Wissahickon Valley Park. Set off from Valley Green Inn with a small group of industry peers, a friend, a co-worker, a loved one, or your favorite four-legged pal (dogs are welcome and encouraged!).
What to Bring: Water, good walking shoes, comfortable clothing, snacks & a packed-lunch.
Seasonal kombucha brews provided by Baba's Brew.
